Mary Rose Pincelli graduated as a dental hygienist in 1970 from Forsyth School for Dental Hygienist And Northeastern University, Boston, Mass. She was one of the first hygienists in Italy when the Italian hygiene association was organized. She worked as clinical professor at the University of Bologna, this position Was held from 1994-2004. During this time, she was given the opportunity to organize courses with the Forsyth School in Boston for six years: an exchange program was established. She was able to do an Erasmus teacher exchange with Karlstad University in Sweden. She had an opportunity in training in dental hygiene techniques for the sale staff of a leading company in Italy. She had published many scientific papers in Italian and international journals. Have been a delegate of the IFDH since 1989 for Italy and in 2013 was elected treasurer of The International Federation of Dental Hygienists still holding this position. In 2010 she was presented with the prestigious “Esther Wilkins Award for Distinguished Alumna “
