Dr. Indra Gopi graduated BDS from SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital in 2018 and MDS in Oral Medicine and Radiology from Saveetha Dental College and Hospital with first class (distinction) in 2022. During her residency, she also trained extensively in special care dentistry. Dr. Indra is one of the very few people to shadow the President and the President-elect of the American Academy of Oral Medicine during her observership program at Harvard School of Dental Medicine – Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, USA.

Dr. Indra has 2 patents, 17 awards and 15 publications to her credit. She was also awarded Dr. A.K. Bhoweer JIAOMR best article award and Dr. K.S. Ganapathi award for best poster with a cash price by the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Radiology. FAMDENT Excellence in dentistry recognized the works done by Dr. Indra and awarded her with the special jury budding dentist of the year 2022 award.

 Dr. Indra was a senior lecturer for a year at Chettinad Dental College and Research Institute in Chennai. Currently, Dr. Indra is a consultant oral medicine and radiology specialist at various private hospitals in Chennai.
