Dr. Devyani Bahl

MDS,Research Fellow

Dr. Devyani Bahl has completed her BDS from Manipal College of dental sciences in 2017 and MDS in oral and maxillofacial surgery from A B Shetty memorial institute of dental sciences in 2021. She was an Elsevier student ambassador from South East Asia in the year 2013. She was awarded Best Intern (Consolation) by Indian health professional awards in 2017 and Best PG student by CIMCON foundation in 2018. She was awarded the Young Dental Achiever award in 2020 by Global Outreach Health Care Awards.

She has held the position of National Joint Secretary and National Vice Chairman (Dental wing) for ALL INDIA MEDICAL STUDENTS’ ASSOCIATION.

She has worked as Climate Counsellor from India for Green Revolution global certification program by international centre for culture and education in accordance with the UNITED NATIONS and the WORLD BANK.

She was the Executive Head (Dental) For ETHOS bioethics committee.

She was a part of the International model united nations as a part of the WHO committee and was awarded honourable mention for representing the Republic of CHILE.

An avid researcher herself she has authored papers in various national and international journals and has Scopus/ PubMed publications to her credit. Her areas of interest are Maxillofacial pathologies, cleft and craniofacial, hair transplant, cosmetology, new research and technologies. She has authored a book – “ENDOSCOPIC ASSISTED SURGERY IN MAXILLOFACIAL TRAUMA – A NEW OUTLOOK.”She is a member of the editorial board of Journal of MAR dental sciences, CUREUS journal of medical sciences, The Journal of Medical Pharmaceutical and Allied Sciences (JMPAS). She is also on the reviewer board for ACTA scientific publications and Journal of clinical and diagnostic research. She has delivered guest lectures at various conferences and online platforms. She is currently practicing as a cosmetologist and Maxillofacial surgeon in Chennai, INDIA and is also pursuing a research fellowship under Cleft children international, Zurich, Switzerland from NITTE Meenakshi institute of craniofacial surgery.
