Dental Education Redefined: AAID Maxi Course Welcomes New Era Amidst 20th Year Celebrations

Chennai, March 2, 2024 - The American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) marked a significant milestone as it celebrated the inauguration of its 20th batch alongside the graduation ceremony for its 19th batch. The event, held at Hotel Clarion on President RK Salai, Chennai, garnered attention with esteemed guests and dignitaries gracing the occasion.

Dr. Dibyendu Mazumdar, President of the Dental Council of India, honored the event as the Chief Guest, accompanied by Dr. Ramasamy, President of TN DCI, and Dr. Mahesh Verma, Vice-Chancellor of GSIPU, as Guests of Honor. The ceremony witnessed addresses from distinguished personalities including Dr. Shankar Iyer, Dr. Mahesh Verma, Dr. Ramasamy, and Dr. Dibyendu Mazumdar and Mr Balaji Subramanyam, Chief Operating Officer of Smile USA Academy enlightening the audience with insights into the field of implant dentistry.

The AAID Maxi Course, renowned for its comprehensive education in implant dentistry, welcomed its participants from various corners of the world, including the Far East, Australia, the UK, and the United States. Dr. Shankar Iyer, delivering the welcome remarks, highlighted the course's intense curriculum, spanning 300 hours and comprising five modules. Notably, the course attracts speakers from over 10 countries, providing a diverse learning experience for attendees.

Moreover, the morning session of the event witnessed the AAID Maxi Course Symposium, commemorating 20 years of practical implant education in India. Dr. Shankar Iyer, Dr. Rangarajan, Dr. Vadivel Kumar, Dr. Nitish Surathu, Dr. Arunachalam, Dr. Vijayalakshmi Acharya, Dr. Prithwi Balepur, Dr. Varun Acharya, Dr. Arunikumar Balasubramanian, and Dr. S. Shankar graced the symposium, unveiling the launch of the AAID Study Club website powered by Smile USA Academy and Dentist Channel Online.

Dr. Vadivel Kumar extended the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all participants, sponsors, and supporters for making the event a resounding success.
